Lighting Up Morgantown: City Neon Brings Signs to the Mylan Park Ice Pavilion

Signs, Shine, and Hockey Time!

Walking into the Mylan Park Ice Pavilion, you immediately feel the energy and excitement of a space designed for the community. Every detail, from the crisp, clear directional signs to the vibrant graphics under the ice, tell a story of craftsmanship, creativity, and care.

At City Neon, we were thrilled to help bring this vision to life. Our team designed and installed a wide range of signage throughout the pavilion: ADA-compliant signs that make the space accessible to everyone, directional signage to guide visitors smoothly, exterior and interior graphics that welcome guests, dasher boards and under-ice visuals that dazzle, and scoreboard signage that keeps fans in the know. Every piece was crafted to balance functionality with eye-catching design, making the pavilion not only easy to navigate but also visually stunning.

The project wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of the incredible team behind it. Mylan Park brought this landmark to Morgantown, March-Westin served as the General Contractor, and Cliff Sutherland shared his vision to create a space the whole community can enjoy. A special thanks to Hope Gas, and particularly Morgan O’Brien, for their commitment to Morgantown and West Virginia.

And the excitement is just getting started! This October, two state-of-the-art 8’x30’ digital hockey scoreboards will be installed, promising to take the fan experience to the next level and truly light up the rink.

We’re proud to see our signage become part of a space where families gather, players shine, and the community comes together. From the first directional sign to the final scoreboard, every piece represents our dedication to craftsmanship and to the people of Morgantown.
